Edwina Cheer – Practice Manager

As Practice Manager of VisionCare Eye Specialists, Edwina Cheer is responsible for daily operations that ensure our practice delivers an exceptional experience for every patient. She oversees the administrative, operational and organisational aspects of the clinic, working closely with our clinical team to ensure patients receive high quality care in a welcoming, efficient and professional environment.

Before joining VisionCare Eye Specialists, Edwina built her career managing and operating successful businesses outside the medical industry. While healthcare operations is a new industry for her, her extensive experience in business operations, governance and regulations, financial acumen, leadership, and customer service approach brings a fresh perspective to the practice.

Edwina is the creator of a number of purpose built systems used in our practice: notably VisionCare HR, Meddy Scribe, and other systems and programs used by our clinical team to maximise efficiency.

Since the establishment of VisionCare Eye Specialists, Edwina has played a pivotal role in transforming the practice into the modern clinic it is today. She led the development of the practice website, implemented comprehensive human resources systems, established policies and procedures, and developed the operational framework that underpins the smooth running of the practice. Her focus on continuous improvement, innovation and attention to detail has been instrumental in creating a clinic that reflects the highest standards of professionalism.

Working alongside the staff at VisionCare Eye Specialists, Edwina shares a vision of building a world class ophthalmology practice that combines clinical excellence with outstanding patient service. Her leadership ensures that every aspect of the patient journey from the first phone call to followup care is delivered with professionalism, efficiency and genuine compassion.

Anh – Lead Orthoptist

Anh is an experienced Orthoptist with many years of experience in ophthalmology. She enjoys working closely with patients and is committed to providing thoughtful, personalised care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

She works alongside ophthalmologists to perform comprehensive diagnostic testing, assist in the assessment and management of a wide range of eye conditions, and provide pre- and post-operative care. Anh takes a calm and caring approach to her work, and ensures patients feel comfortable, informed and supported throughout their journey.

She also speaks Vietnamese.
